Play Development & Creativity
Play Development

- Structured imaginary and free play is the foundation of learning and skill development in toddlers. It provides an outlet for emotions, strengthens cognitive abilities, allows for processing through role-play and a landscape to understand the world around them; and provides them with the opportunity to work on vital life skills such as problem-solving, collaboration, planning, and language.
- Sensory play through tactile play supports and encourages nerve connections in the brain, assists with proprioceptive support for sensory seekers, creates an understanding of concepts such as size, shape, weight, and space; stimulates the senses as well as cognitive, motor, language, and problem-solving development.

Creativity

- Art and crafts activities to assist with creative stimulation, skills development, and an emotional outlet; as well as for fun extra activities to fill the afternoon.
- Creative activities encourage representational thought and use of space (mid-line crossing), the discovery of colours and shapes, all building on attention, focus, and creative engagement time.
Personal & Emotional Support

- Mentoring and companionship to develop interpersonal skills, confidence, and self-assurance.

Resulting in positive and empowering life skills such as independence, socialisation, leadership skills, collaboration abilities, and confidence.
- Socialisation, school readiness, relationship building, and the opportunity to experience group play through toddler group play sessions.
